The Roles
Staff-Net has several Warehouse positions based in the Perth Metro area for the following roles;
- Pickers & Packers (Trolley or Pallet Jack)
- Forklift Operators (LF High Risk Ticket)
- High Reach Forklift Operators (LF High Risk Ticket)
- Order Pickers (LO High Risk Ticket)
- Yard Persons (LF High Risk Ticket)
The roles range from small in-house warehouses to large DC’s (Distribution Centers) based in the Perth Metro region both North & South of the River.
The majority of the roles have standard warehouse responsibilities which can be separated into two main categories;
- Pickers & Packers
- Forklift Operators
Pickers & Packers
Pickers & Packers roles may cover the following warehouse responsibilities;
- Oder Picking - Pickling Orders from hard copy picking slips, RF Scanners
- Order Packing - Palletizing, Boxing & Wrapping
- Receivables – Checking delivered items with Con Notes
- Updating computer systems – Receivables & Packed
- Placing picked orders in staging areas
- Ensuring correct documentation is attached to packed orders
Forklift & Order Pickers
The forklift roles vary across standard counterbalance forklifts through to high reach forklift and stand on order pickers. Some of the main responsibilities for Forklift Operators include;
- Picking using forklifts from standard shelving through to high shelving
- Loads may include – Palletized & Ugly Freight
- Loading & Unloading Trucks
- Order Picking – Hard Copy or RF Scanners
- Yard work
- Updating the system
The Candidate
We are seeking experienced warehouse operatives across Pickers & Packers through to Forklift Operators that have at least 6 months experience in working in warehouses.
In addition; we are targeting candidates that possess the following;
- Are physically fit and able to carry out regular physical tasks
- Possess good written & verbal communication skills
- Are able to pick up new computer systems quickly
- Have an excellent work ethic with good time keeping & attendance
- Have a Positive Attitude
- Possess good problem solving skills & initiative
Remuneration
Depending on the client and shift times (Some afternoon and night shift are available) the pay rates will be between;
- $34.00 to $42.00 Per Hour + Super (Flat)
