The Company
For the last 30+ years, our client has manufactured purpose built pumping systems designed to their client’s requirements and specifications with a proven reputation of quality, reliability and service, supplying to a wide range of client’s in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Heavy Industry and Utilities industries.
The Role
Our client has a large stores department that stocks over 5000 parts and materials that are used in the in-house manufacture of specialized pumping equipment. The stores department has a small team of approximately 8 to 10 team members that work across receivables, pick and pack and dispatch.
Our client is seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand that is able to carry out the following;
- Supervising a small team when required
- Picking Orders off Bill of Materials
- Using RF Scanners for Receivables & Picked Items
- Distribution of Parts & Materials to in-house Workshop Departments - Mechanical, Fabrication & Electrical
- Counter Balance Fork Lift operation
- High Reach Fork Lift Operation (Not Mandatory but desired)
- Receivables – unpack, check, scan and put away
Working Hours & Days
The standard working hours and days are as follows;
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Over Time when required (OT rates apply)
The Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative that has at least has 3 years work experience as a Warehouse Operative with at least 1 year experience as a Warehouse Leading Hand.
Staff-Net will be focusing on candidates that possess the following
- Previous Warehouse Leading Hand /Supervisory Experience
- Desires On-Going work and Career Progression
- Has a Positive Attitude
- Possess Initiative & Good Problem-Solving Skills
- Has excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Works well in a Team or Autonomously
- Has an excellent Work Ethic – Gets to work on time & great attendance record
- Possess Attention to Detail
In addition, we are seeking a candidate that have the following;
- Has RF Scanner Experience
- Experienced in updating warehouse software systems / Good Computer Skills
- Can carry out “hands on” tasks that require a high level of physically fitness
Remuneration
Depending on your Experience and Attitude the pay rate will be between;
- $36.00 to $40.00 Per Hour
- + Over Time
- + Super
