Due to an increased volume through our clients Distribution Centre in Kewdale our client is seeking experienced High Risk License LO Order Pickers to join their Afternoon and Night or Shifts.
Shifts - Working Hours & Days
- Location: Kewdale
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Parking: Ample free parking available
The Role
Our clients use RF Scanners via PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistant) and specialized warehouse software where candidates need to be competent on computers to update the system of Picked Orders & Receivables.
Our client predominately uses “Order Pickers” for access to high shelving where you will be operating an Order Picker (Requires High Risk LO License) either conducting;
- LO - Oder Picking - Using RF / PAD’s System
- LO - Putting Away Receivables
- Updating the Warehouse Management System of Picked Orders where you check picked items, update system and box or palletize items
- Creating Consignment Notes & Invoices of completed packed orders through Warehouse Management System
- For Bulk Orders – Packing Pallets & Operating Pallet Wrapping Machine
- Checking Deliveries by checking every item with the Consignment Notes Invoice & Purchase Order
- Updating the Warehouse Management System of Delivered Items, noting any missing items
The Candidate - Essential Criteria
To be considered, applicants must possess a High Risk LO License with at least 3 month experience operating an Order Picker.
- Must possess a High Risk LO / Order Picker License
- Possess at least 3 Month Experience operating a LO / Order Picker
- Experienced in Warehouse Order Pack & Pack & Receivables
- Are confident on Computers to update warehouse system
- Are able to work Monday to Fridays either in Afternoon Shift or Night Shift
- Are physically fit and able to carry out regular physical tasks
- Possess good written & verbal communication skills
Remuneration
This is a Temp to Perm role where the successful candidate will initially work through Staff-Net on a casual basis where after 3 Months the successful candidate is then required to sign over as a Full-Time Permanent Employee with our client.
Night Shift pay rates are;
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM – Casual - $41.60 Per Hour + OT + Super
After working 3 Months, the successful candidate must sign over to our clients books as a Permanent Employee where the pay rates offered will be;
- Night Shift: Permanent - $29.90 Per Hour
- + Super
- + Over Time
- + Leave Entitlements – such as 4 weeks paid Holiday, Sick Leave & Carers Leave
