The Company
Our client manufactures and hires out mobile accommodation camps, supplying to the mining, emergency services, oil & gas and energy industries, Australia wide. Our client can configure camps to their clients specifications and requirements providing accommodation units, commercial kitchens, recreational units, offices and laundries.
Due to our client designing some new product models they are seeking a Drafter to carry out;
- Architectural / Structural Drafting – Inventor – 3D
- Shop Drawings – 2D
Work Duration & Working Days & Hours
Based in Bibra Lake, initially our client will be requiring the Drafter to either work the following;
- 5 Days Per Week – For 2 to 4 weeks
- 2 to 3 Days Per Week – 3 to 5 weeks
- Possible Ad Hoc work – 2 to 5 days per month
The Role
Our client is currently developing several new product designs where the product is Caravans for remote site accommodation where the designs may include;
- 4 Bedroom
- 3 Bedroom with Ensuite
- Bathroom & Toilet
- Kitchen
The software our client uses is;
- Autodesk Inventor
Reporting to and working with the General Manager, you will be getting rough designs of what they would like you to draft up. Once the general designs is made up you will need be making changes to get the design exactly what they are desiring.
Once the design is made up you will produce final 2D and 3D designs which include;
- 2D – Shop Drawings, General Arrangement for Fabricator & Installers
- 3D – For Installers & Marketing
The Candidate
We are seeking a versatile Drafter that is proficient in Autodesk Inventor and is familiar with the following;
- Creating 3D
- Creating 2D – Shop Drawings & General Arrangements
Essential Criteria Include;
- Autodesk Inventor 2D & 3D - Advanced
- English Communication Skills - Written & Verbal - Advanced
- Flexibility: Be able to work 3 to 5 days per week for 2 to 4 weeks
- Time Management: Possess highly developed time management skills with the ability to continually prioritize works tasks regularly
- Productivity: Be able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines
Remuneration
Depending on the candidates work experience, especially in relation Autodesk Inventor as well as any qualifications the following remuneration details for the available include;
- $40.00 to $50.00 Per Hour
- + Super
